How do I operate the Electronic Voting Machine(EVM)?

As against the earlier use of ballot papers for voting, EVM is a convenient and reliable method of voting.

You just have to:

• Press the blue coloured button once on the balloting unit against the name and symbol of the candidate of your choice.
  

• A red light will glow against his name and a beep will be heard to indicate your vote has been recorded.
